The Library card!

So Lauryn could not wait to turn 5 so she could get her own Library card so a few days after her birthday we took her to our local library and signed her up to her card. she checked out a few items and then we headed home. Well on the way home she was telling us how excited she was that she could now get another Leapster game, we were a little confused and told her that the library does not have Leapster games, she said oh well then we will go to another store that has some and use my card there, Brian proceeded to tell her that her card can only be used at the library and it doesn't by things. The response in turn was silence, you could hear the coolness of the library card getting flushed down the toilet in her sweet little mind,the poor girl thought that when you turned 5 you could get a library card in which was like a credit card and could get anything you want. I am still kind of confused as to why she thought that because we go to the library often and of course to the store and we don't use our library cards to pay but then how often do kids pay attention to the method of payment their parents use at the store.
