My Christmas projects!

So I decided this year I wanted to make a couple of gifts for the girls for Christmas for 3 reasons to save money of course and also so they could have something homemade and hopefully remember how fun they were, and third cause I had so much fun making them. Well I had a wonderful friend loan me her sewing machine and started sewing away. I made 4 projects and a ginger bread house, but first off I have to say I got a lot of my ideas off a fabulous web sight called ucreate I am sure some of you have heard of it but it's WONDERFUL! Anyways back to my projects 1st one was I made all of them crayon aprons out of hand towels, and decided to add my own touch with adding ribbon to them. My brother in law works at a place that embosses things so we had him put their names on each apron, This one is Mylie's and they seem to love them. My second project was making a quiet book for Emery I have to say it was probably my favorite project to work on,it took 4 months the main reason is I only worked on it at night when the kids were in bed and I hand sewn most of it. But I have to say I did a pretty dang good job for my first very own quiet and making most of the pattern's myself. I am soo! proud of this book that I watch them play with it like a hawk cause I don't want it to get ruined isn't that silly? Here is a picture of the cover and a few pictures of my favorite pages. 3rd I made Lauryn a felt Mr. Potato head it was also a fun one to make and I did it pretty quickly so that was good. She loves it and it's also a good to take to church along with the quiet book. And the 4th project I don't have a picture of cause It's not completely finished and I was the most frustrating one of all I made a table tent for Mylei so they could set a tent up on the table they love to set up tents but our place is so small to do one so this was a great idea. Well I am going to try and redo it soon cause it did not turn out very well at all. And finally here is a picture of our gingerbread house that the girls and I did they each got to have a side and decorate it however they pleased It's a darn cute house don't you think? Well now that all my projects are done I am going to have to figure out something else to work on cause I don't know what to do with myself since I have had something to do for the past 5 months. Hmm! maybe clean and organize my house? Nahhhh! that's not fun.
